Overview
Escape the bustling city life and immerse yourself in the serene, untouched beauty of Lam Thuong Valley and Luc Yen District. This 3-day invigorating adventure is meticulously designed for those who seek more than just a sightseeing tour—it is a journey into the heart of Northern Vietnam’s rural soul. Located in Yen Bai province, Lam Thuong remains a hidden sanctuary where the pace of life is dictated by the seasons and the gentle flow of mountain streams.
Throughout this expedition, you will traverse through emerald-green palm forests, scale limestone karsts that offer panoramic vistas of the stilt-house villages below, and cool off in the misty spray of the majestic Nam Chan waterfall. This isn't just a hike; it’s a cultural immersion. You will stay in traditional stilt houses of the Tay people, savoring authentic farm-to-table cuisine and learning about ancient customs that have remained unchanged for centuries.
The adventure culminates in the vibrant Luc Yen gemstone market, a place unlike any other in the world, where precious rubies and sapphires are traded with a simplicity that defies their value. Whether you are an avid hiker looking for fresh trails or a culture enthusiast seeking genuine connections, this tour provides a perfect balance of physical challenge and soulful rejuvenation.
