Bac Ha Trekking To Hoang Su Phi - 5 Days. The trip includes 4 home-stays at different group of people of different cultures. This will definitely give you a great chance to learn about the local authentic cultures. Accommodation on the trip is homestay at local ethnic families. All meals are provided on the trek. While trekking, we'll have picnic lunches and dinners cooked by the family. We'll surely have opportunities to taste local cuisine typical of each ethnic group who are our hosts. The level of difficulty of the trek is moderate. You'll hike for about 6 hours each day on small trails with some steep gradients. The trails can be through forests, or tea plantations or rice terraces. Sometimes the views are blocked by trees and mountains and at other times we'll be hiking on open-vista mountainsides with sweeping views of the surrounding nature. The scenery is extraordinary in September and October while the rice terraces are turning into golden colors.

Your equipment:
All travel luggage should be divided between a backpack worn by the travelers and a second sealed bag with padlock, transported by the logistics team on site (porters and/or vehicles).

Basic equipment:
- Breathable underwear (fast drying).
- A kind Polartec fleece jacket (if possible windbreaker) or Wind Pro (excellent weight / insulation).
- A waterproof and breathable jacket (Gore-Tex) in the bottom of the bag (only for the months of November to March).
- The pants trek.
- A cap or hat.
- Sun glasses (minimum index 3 and 4 for high mountain).
- A rain cape.
- A water bottle (or water bottle pocket, pipette).

Sleeping:
• From December to late March: good sleeping bag 0 ° C / - 5 ° C.
• In March, April and November: sleeping bag comfort temperature +10 ° C.
• From May to October: silk sleeping bag (a cloth down in fleece is sufficient).
- We provide mattresses and blankets on hand to light the night with the locals.

What to pack:
- A backpack with wide straps and an adjustable anatomical frame, with a capacity of 20-30 liters for your business day.

- A travel bag 80 to 100 liters, flexible. Depending on weather, luggage is transported by the day or by bike carriers. It is recommended, if you have the choice to carry a travel bag with shoulder strap for easy work if we use carriers rather than motorcycles, but do not make the acquisition purpose for this trip .

7:30AM pick up from your hotel in Hanoi and drive to Bac Ha town on the HW Noi Bai - Lao Cai. Lunch is at a local restaurant on the way. In the afternoon, take a motorboat ride on Chay River (If the water level permits, not much opportunities in the dry season!) and then walk to Trung Do village of the Tay ethnic minority people. From there, picked up and drive uphill to Bac Ha town. Check into a local hotel. Dinner and stay for the night.
** In case it is impossible to take the boat ride on Chay River, you just drive straight to Bac Ha after lunch, and forward to Ban Pho, a village of the Flower H'mong minority group to embark on 1.5 hour trek to enjoy the rural scenery and learn the culture of this colorful ethnic group before the hotel check-in.
