Hiking Northeast Vietnam 7 Day Itinerary is arranged in the north eastern Vietnam taking you to remote, isolated villages of Cao Bang province where you meet up with the Tay and Nung people. Begin your 7-day adventure tour with a car transfer from Hanoi to the north through Bac Giang and Bac Ninh province to Lang Son town and then That Khe where you spend the first night. The following days you will trek along hillside from village to village including Na Pang village, Pak Khoang village, Na Nieng village, La village, Ta Lung village. This is a medium hike as you spend about 5 – 6 hours on trekking with few up and downhill climbs. The tour is provided with an extension trip to Ba Be national park where you enjoy a boat trip on Ba Be lakes. A short hiking tour can also be made on the spot if you would like to spend more time around this area.

Your equipment:
All travel luggage should be divided between a backpack worn by the travelers and a second sealed bag with padlock, transported by the logistics team on site (porters and/or vehicles).
Basic equipment:
- Breathable underwear (fast drying).
- A kind Polartec fleece jacket (if possible windbreaker) or Wind Pro (excellent weight / insulation).
- A waterproof and breathable jacket (Gore-Tex) in the bottom of the bag (only for the months of November to March).
- The pants trek.
- A cap or hat.
- Sun glasses (minimum index 3 and 4 for high mountain).
- A rain cape.
- A water bottle (or water bottle pocket, pipette).
Sleeping:
• From December to late March: good sleeping bag 0 ° C / - 5 ° C.
• In March, April and November: sleeping bag comfort temperature +10 ° C.
• From May to October: silk sleeping bag (a cloth down in fleece is sufficient).
- We provide mattresses and blankets on hand to light the night with the locals.
What to pack:
- A backpack with wide straps and an adjustable anatomical frame, with a capacity of 20-30 liters for your business day.

- A travel bag 80 to 100 liters, flexible. Depending on weather, luggage is transported by the day or by bike carriers. It is recommended, if you have the choice to carry a travel bag with shoulder strap for easy work if we use carriers rather than motorcycles, but do not make the acquisition purpose for this trip .

- Change of clothes.
- A pair of spare laces.

- A pair of sneakers or sandals to walk in the water.

Tour Plan
7:00am: You will be met up with Golden Trekking Tours team at your hotel in Hanoi. Depart for Lang Son, driving the national road 1A. After about three hours, you arrive in Lang Son. Visit to Tam Thanh Cave and walking around the busy trading town. We continue riding to That Khe, a small quiet town. The afternoon ride is very nice as we drive through beautiful area with forested mountains and peaceful tribal villages. Arrival in That Khe in afternoon free the rest of the day. We will check in a small family run hotel. Lunch and dinner included. Overnight in That Khe.
