Overview
An Untamed Journey into Vietnam's Green Heart
Deep in the karst mountains of Ninh Binh province lies Cuc Phuong National Park, the oldest and one of the most significant protected areas in Vietnam. Spanning over 22,000 hectares, this emerald sanctuary is a biological treasure trove, home to hundreds of species of flora and fauna, many of which are critically endangered. Our 2-Day Camping & Wildlife Adventure is meticulously designed for those who wish to disconnect from the urban chaos and reconnect with the raw, pulsating rhythm of nature.
This is not just a sightseeing tour; it is a deep dive into an ancient ecosystem. Over two days, you will traverse dense tropical forests, stand in the shadows of thousand-year-old trees, and witness the vital conservation efforts that protect the world's most endangered primates. As the sun sets, the jungle transforms; our exclusive Night Safari offers a rare window into the lives of nocturnal creatures, from elusive civets to curious squirrels.
Sleeping under a canopy of stars, surrounded by the symphonic chorus of cicadas and owls, provides an authentic camping experience that few get to encounter. Your adventure begins with a morning departure from our headquarters. We'll travel by vehicle to the park's entrance, the starting point for our journey. Our trek will take us deep into the primary forest, a mesmerizing landscape of ancient, moss-covered trees and majestic limestone karsts. You will spend four to five hours trekking, following winding trails that lead through a breathtaking natural environment. Along the way, you'll encounter fascinating limestone caves and pass beneath the canopy of trees that have stood for a millennium.
Our primary destination for the day is the renowned Langur Valley, an area teeming with wildlife. Here, we hope to catch a glimpse of the critically endangered Delacour's langur, the park's official mascot and one of the rarest primates on the planet.

As twilight falls, your national park guide and a local expert will lead you back into the now pitch-black forest. Using a powerful spotting lamp, you will embark on a night safari to search for the forest's nocturnal creatures. This exhilarating experience offers a chance to see animals like civets, various species of owls, flying squirrels, lorises, and bats in their most active state, making for an unforgettable end to your first day.
