Overview
The Ultimate Chin Hills Adventure
Venture deep into the heart of Southern Chin State with our 4-Day Chit Kyaung Valley & Hunters Waterfalls expedition. This is not just a trek; it is a profound journey into one of the most culturally unique and geographically isolated regions of Southeast Asia. Starting from the ancient plains of Bagan or the bustling riverside of Pakokku, you will ascend into the misty Chin Hills, where the air grows cool and the pine forests whisper stories of old.
Our route takes you through the legendary Chit Kyaung Valley, a lush corridor of biodiversity home to the "Hunters" of the Chin tribes. Unlike typical tourist routes, this expedition focuses on the Mindat region, famous for its tattooed-faced women—a fading tradition where elderly women display intricate facial patterns representing their specific clans.
The highlight of the journey is the discovery of the hidden Hunters Waterfalls. Tucked away in deep ravines, these cascading waters offer a pristine sanctuary for nature lovers. You will walk through ancient oak forests, cross bamboo bridges over crystal-clear streams, and stay in traditional Chin villages where hospitality is a way of life. This tour is meticulously designed for those who seek authenticity, physical challenge, and the chance to witness a culture that remains largely untouched by the modern world.
