Trekking North East Vietnam to discover tropical forest, karst mountains and Tay, Nung, Dzao hill tribes at the north of the Red River Delta, Vietnam. Northeast called to distinguish them from the Northwest, but it’s actually in the north and northeast of Hanoi, wider than Viet Bac. The northeast is one of three sub-regions of northern Vietnam including Bac Giang, Bac Kan, Cao Bang, Ha Giang, Lang Son, Phu Tho, Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, and Tuyen Quang. Sometimes the Northeast, including the Red River Delta.
